To wrap things up for the 2024 race calendar, our new recruit Arkandhia went to the Bogoracers Year End race and managed to get into the A-Main!

Here's his report from the race:
Bogoracers Year End race 2024 at
Graha Tamiya track, Jakarta.
On practice day, I used aluminium chasis for my xq11r. At first, I thought that the track had high grip conditions. But when I arrived at the track and saw other people doing their practice sessions, they struggled because of the low grip track conditions. Although I saw other people struggling with low grip, I still decided to try my alu chasis. At first, the car was ok but less responsive. Then, as I began to push the car, I crashed on the straight. After that crash, I finally decided to change to carbon chasis. I also decided to change my traction which made my car more agressive. In the end of the day, I ended up with my time of 14.2 seconds, which was not bad despite this is my first time on the track.

On the next day which was race day, my qualifying pace was ok, managing to get 5th place overall by my second round of qualiying. But then, on the third round, my car suddenly spin on the beginning laps which made me dnf from the final round. In finals, the grip suddenly increased drastically. I started 9th on the grid and finished 10th. The glue of my front tires kept coming off from the tire and the front tires became over grip on the finals. I can't change to another set of tires because the race regulations states that the participants can only use 1 set of tires over the course of the race.
The opposite happened to my father Yudi Indrawan, he managed to get TQ on mini touring class using his fm1s. On final 1 my father managed to get 1st place, on final 2 my father's car clipped the wall which made his car flip but fortunately he managed to get 3rd place from last place, and on final 3 my father was already leading smoothly he even overlapped many cars but suddenly he crashed to a car stranded at the end of the straight which made him dnf. The final result for my father is TQ+A2.

The track was challenging for me, as its grip progressively increased from low grip to high grip. I will try to practice more frequently to improve my driving skills so I can adapt to the changing conditions.
Also thank you to RC Xpress for supporting my racing passion, hope I can do better next time.

Running the XQ11 upgraded to the R version with graphite arms.

Spring steel double joint universals upgrade in the front with a 3D printed body support piece for more stability.

Running split top decks as the norm nowadays the only thing special is the narrow LiPo he chose to run at this race.

Also upgrading to the Execute XQ11R chassis deck for more chassis flex and grip.
