Today we will be looking at the Xpress XQ1 in depth. It

Tough and precise-cut motor mount. Just gorgeous.

It will be a good idea to apply some oil before putting the set screw in place as the plastic is hard and it would be a tight fit

rcMart Xpress XQ1 2

When you put the gear holder on the chassis, it feels great!

rcMart Xpress XQ1 3

This is pure art

rcMart Xpress XQ1 4

Perfect fit, requires no extra alternation

rcMart Xpress XQ1 5

A very strong servo mount

rcMart Xpress XQ1 6

Arm mount consists of the same plastic holder as Xray

rcMart Xpress XQ1 7

Check out the rear arm mount

rcMart Xpress XQ1 8

FF is narrow and RR is wide

rcMart Xpress XQ1 10

C hub

rcMart Xpress XQ1 11

If the C hub isn't the perfect size, you can use a hairdryer and heat it up for 3-5 mins, then let it cool down

It should turn back into 21mm and fit the steering block. It should not be a problem for most people

Front arm is always smoother if you sand it down a little

rcMart Xpress XQ1 13

Arm Pin (42mm)x4

rcMart Xpress XQ1 14

Front universal joints are smooth and fit, but the pin seems a little too small to fit the front pool

rcMart Xpress XQ1 15

Steering arm is combined with two parts. The join is strong and fits nicely and it doesn't seem to be fragile at all!

rcMart Xpress XQ1 16

Front steering tips - Don't screw it too tight

rcMart Xpress XQ1 17

Rear universal joint

rcMart Xpress XQ1 18

Damper mount and camber link mount look great. The camber link is also very easy to adjust

Excellent design

rcMart Xpress XQ1 19

Driver tips - Swap the position of the front and rear camber and add 1mm o-ring to the front camber. Entering corner will become more aggressive.

Feel free to try standard first.

rcMart Xpress XQ1 20

Servo mount tips - Use 3x5 at the front of the screw

rcMart Xpress XQ1 21

Add 1.5mm o-ring to the steering block and steering link

rcMart Xpress XQ1 22

Add 2.5mm to the steering link and steering arm

rcMart Xpress XQ1 23

Add 2mm o-ring to the front camber link block but don't add any o-ring to the C hub

rcMart Xpress XQ1 24

Ball end is hard and smooth

rcMart Xpress XQ1 25

Central pulley (20T) and spur gear holder. Spur Gear is perfect fit and easy to adjust.

rcMart Xpress XQ1 26

Spool and pulley (38T)

rcMart Xpress XQ1 27

Gear differential (38T) same as Xray

rcMart Xpress XQ1 28

The piston fits perfectly to the damper body.

Driver tips, use 4-hole piston and about 500cst to start the test drive.

rcMart Xpress XQ1 29

Servo mount set - Simple and efficient. Make sure you use a short screw (3x5mm) for the front at the holder. Place the battery holder on the right and check your servo size.

rcMart Xpress XQ1 30

Front arm assemble - It would be better to have a 2mm o-ring at the front of the A arm. Change the steering arm o-ring from 2.5mm to 1.5mm or less will be enough

rcMart Xpress XQ1 31

Anti roll bar - Easy for balanced set up.

Step 1

Install one ball bearing first. Then the roll bar and followed by the other ball bearing.

rcMart Xpress XQ1 32

You will need a 2mm ball screw drive to change the gear

rcMart Xpress XQ1 33

Yokomo bumper fits xpress as well

rcMart Xpress XQ1 34

Rear left and right toe are the same
